Why am I staring out to the sea?
poems and the wind my only company
how long have I wandered? how long with no home?
no gentle caress from the twin of my soul
the spinners are coming, I swim out to see
the joy of my heart is their sweet symphony
three mothers encircle me and two babies jump
in a pattern of spinning like an ancient bump
on a stone that I saw in a dream of old times
where dolphin and human in love did rhyme
they spoke to me in my own voice in my mind
"see you on the other side"
and three days later, like a riddle of time,
the spinners swam to the other side
(125 MILES), (put on a show where the bottlenose go)
(where I went to pick fruit in Naapoopoo)
to prove to me that they really did know
the future to come and the times in the past
were never forgotten in the kingdom of SEA
the love of the ancients is given to thee!
