JANUARY 2019
Dollar Tree Poem
@ Casino on
Recycled Receipts (will probably never enter the drawing by taking the online survey)
I DON’T REMEMBER NAMES, BUT NEVER
FORGET A FACE.
Your picture
On the Wall
Above my booth
Says It All!
Sacred Salish Sea person
You gave me
A Sacred paste you made yourself
Many many moons ago in Oregon
Somewhere
Knick knick
All mortared and pestled
With sacred
Mushrooms…
We ate and communed
In a time of no time
Together, we and the Earth
Chimed and rhymed…
I never forget a face
Of an angel enshrined…
