Clara Bowe at the Depot Arts Center, 99 years young
When
you vote for CSIRI in the 250K Pepsi Challenge Grant every day in December, you
will help to support one of your local non-profits. We plan to use the
fundraising for domestic violence rescues, early childhood learning programs,
and a center for intergenerational learning to be called MOM'SOS, established
as a permanent local center for art, music, and creativity and a potential
Model for other communities to emulate. . Johnny Picasso's is one local art
venue who will contribute a lifetime memorial to the community with children's
art and local musicians also volunteering their time to help stimulate art and
music back into education in our community.
Restore the gifts of art, music,
storytelling, rhythm, and dance to human educational interfaces, and see a new
generation of systems scientists emerge with critical thinking skills and the
joy in learning that is their birthright!
